(8/1/14) AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 17:6(C), relative to the general powers of the State Board of Elementary and2 Secondary Education; to provide for a master plan for elementary and secondary3 education; to provide for reports; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 17:6(C) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6 ยง6. General powers of board7 * * *8 C.(1) The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education shall9 formulate and make timely revisions to a master plan for elementary and10 secondary education.11 (2) At a minimum, the plan shall include a review of all plans and12 initiatives, currently adopted or proposed, with special emphasis on13 implementing technology fully into the classroom.14 (3) The state board shall submit its plan to the legislature not later than15 fifteen days prior to the 2015 Regular Session of the Legislature.
