FISH/FISHING. Provides for the possession limits of crappie on Lake D'Arbonne. (8/1/14)
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 56:325(B)(3), relative to the possession limit for crappie in2
certain water bodies; to provide a fifty fish limit for crappie caught on Lake3
D'Arbonne; to provide terms, conditions, and requirements; and to provide for4
related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 56:325(B)(3) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:7
ยง325. Daily take, possession, and size limits; freshwater recreational fish; possession8
of finfish filets prohibited9

(3) The possession limit for crappie caught in Toledo Bend Reservoir and in13
Lake D'Arbonne on a recreational license shall be one hundred fish.14

Present law sets a 50 fish possession limit for crappie on state waters and also provides a 100
fish possession limit for crappie on Lake D'Arbonne.
Proposed law changes the limit from 100 to 50 on Lake D'Arbonne.
Effective August 1, 2014.
