(8/1/14) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 38:90.1(1) and (10), relative to the statewide flood-control2 program; to define certain terms; and to provide for related matters.3 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4 Section 1. R.S. 38:90.1(1) and (10) are hereby amended and reenacted to read as5 follows: 6 ยง90.1. Also defines "project" as a program or engineering activity, either new or continuing, exclusive of modifications to drainage structures located within state highway right-of-way, that will be planned and implemented with the primary goal being the reduction of existing flood damages. Proposed law makes technical corrections. Otherwise retains present law. Effective August 1, 2014. (Amends R.S. 38:90.1(1) and (10))
