AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 48:13, relative to the Department of Transportation and2
Development; to provide for the powers, functions, and organization of the3
department; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 48:13 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
§13. Department as body politic and corporate; secretary 7
The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby declared to8

under the control, management, supervision, and direction of the secretary in the10
manner and to the extent provided by Title 36 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of11
1950.12
