Regular Session, 2014 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 394 BY SENATOR MORRELL AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 42:2.1(C) and (D), relative to boards and commissions; to prohibit individuals2 having outstanding fines, fees, or penalties pursuant to the Code of Governmental3 Ethics from serving on boards and commissions; to provide for definitions; and to4 provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 42:2.1(C) and (D) are hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง2.1. Boards, commissions, councils, authorities, entities; composition8 * * *9 C. No person owing any outstanding fines, fees, or penalties pursuant to10 the Code of Governmental Ethics shall be appointed to any board or11 commission of the state or any political subdivision.12 D.
