Morrell (SB 394)
Proposed law prohibits the appointment of any person with an outstanding fine to the Board of
Ethics to state or political subdivision boards or commissions.
Proposed law defines "outstanding fines, fees, or penalties pursuant to the Code of Governmental
Ethics" as a fine, fee, or penalty equal to an amount of $250 or more for which all appeals have
been exhausted.
Effective August 1, 2014.
