Present law provides for the public records law and exceptions to the law.
Proposed law adds an exception for the physical medium or contents of any electronic storage
device including any compact disc, digital video disc, jump drive, audio or video cassette tape, or
any other type of electronic storage device in the custody or under the control of a state public
body that contains images of security surveillance video of state property.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
