Murray (SB 45)
Present law relative to Orleans Parish Criminal District Court provides procedures for
preparation of transcripts and reports of testimony by court reporters in cases appealed from
judgments of the criminal district court to the judges of the court sitting as a court of appeals, and
to the supreme court. Proposed law changes "the supreme court" to "an appellate court" and
retains remainder of present law.
Effective August 1, 2014.
