Proposed law creates the Cross-Unit Well Study Commission within DNR, office of
conservation and requires the commission to study the legal implication of the prescription of
nonuse in relation to the drilling of any well located closer than 330 feet from the property
boundary of a drilling unit or lease.
Proposed law provides for the membership, powers and duties of the commission.
Proposed law provides that the provisions of proposed law will expire on August 1, 2015.
Effective August 1, 2014.
