GERMAIN AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 47:490.4(B), relative to motor vehicles; to provide with respect2 to military honor license plates for certain disabled veterans; to provide that such3 plates bear the international symbol of accessibility; and to provide for related4 matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 47:490.4(B) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:7 ยง490.4. Military honor license plates for certain disabled veterans8 * * *9 B. Upon the application of a qualified disabled veteran, the secretary shall10 issue to such veteran a military honor license plate, restricted to passenger cars,11 pickup trucks, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and vans, to be used in lieu of the12 regular motor vehicle registration license plate. The military honor license plate shall13 contain the designation "DV" and shall bear the international symbol of14 accessibility followed by such numbers as the secretary finds expedient.
