HEALTH CARE. Provides for the scope of practice of certain health care professionals.

AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 37:936 and 1360.25, relative to certain health care professionals; to authorize2
certain licensing boards to include certain procedures to scope of practice; and to3
provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 37:936 and 1360.25 are hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
§936. Procedures taught at an accredited institution7
The board may include for the scope of practice for a nurse practitioner8
a procedure that is taught at a regionally accredited institution that provides a9
nurse practitioner professional degree.10

§1360.25. Procedures taught at an accredited institution12
The board may include for the scope of practice for a physician assistant,13
a procedure that is taught at a regionally accredited institution that provides a14

scope of practice for a physician assistant, a procedure that is taught at a regionally
accredited institution that provides a physician assistant professional degree.
