Present law provides for provider contracts.
Proposed law provides any contract or agreement between a managed care organization and a
health care provider shall include provisions that provide for the reimbursement of a health care
provider in any instance in which the managed care organization requests or requires substitution
of a medication for an enrollee.
Effective August 1, 2014.
(Amends R.S. 22:1007(I); adds R.S. 22:1007(J))
