Present law provides that information on the prescribing of certain controlled dangerous
substances shall be reported no longer than seven days after the date of dispensing.
Proposed law amends present law to provide each eligible prescription shall be reported no later
than the next business day after the date of dispensing.
Effective August 1, 2014.
