Provides that student athletes who participate in certain team sports for three or more years shall be awarded athletic letters and related awards, certificates, and other specified indicia. (gov sig) AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 17:176(F), relative to extracurricular activities; to provide relative to2 interscholastic athletics and the recognition and indicia related to student3 participation in certain high school interscholastic athletic activities; to provide for4 effectiveness; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 17:176(F) is hereby enacted to read as follows:7 ยง176. Extracurricular activities; interscholastic athletics; participation; athletic8 letters; standards; prohibitions; filming or videotaping; definitions9 * * *10 F. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not1 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature2 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
