Proposed law requires the commissioner of conservation to promulgate rules for public hearings
before issuing permits to drill, expand, operate, convert, or alter a solution-mined cavern in
Vermilion and Iberia parishes.
Proposed law requires public notice on three separate days within a period of 30 days prior to the
public hearing.
Effective August 1, 2014.
