of a common application for La. residents and nonresidents to apply to any public

common application process, and the duties and responsibilities of the Board of
Regents and the postsecondary education systems and institutions.
(3)Provides that independent colleges and universities that are members of the La.
Assoc. of Independent Colleges and Universities may use the La. common
application.
(4)Requires public colleges and universities to accept the La. common application.

and university may accept such application in lieu of the La. common application.
Provides that the La. common application shall be fully implemented and available to
students applying for admission for the 2016-2017 academic year.
