Proposed law provides the Department of Health and Hospitals shall reimburse the providers of
direct service workers a per diem amount in addition to fees for services provided.
Proposed law provides the per diem amount as provided for in the proposed law shall not be less
than $16.40 per day for recipients requiring medication administration and not less than $11.98
per day for other recipients.
Effective August 1, 2014.
