White (SB 72) Act No. 133
Prior law in Children's Code required that petitions filed in child in need of care proceedings,
family in need of services proceedings, juvenile delinquency proceedings and involuntary
termination of parental right proceedings be verified.
New law removes requirement that such petitions be verified.
Effective August 1, 2014.
