COMMENDATIONS. Commends Annie Clae Barousse for her accomplishments in various
professional rodeo circuits.
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON1
To commend Annie Clae Barousse on her 2013 equine accomplishments in various2
professional rodeos. 3
WHEREAS, Annie Barousse started her equine experiences by showing halter and4
showmanship in 2006, and has won yearly championships; and5
WHEREAS, she and her equine partner, "Smart Cuttin Peppy" has amassed an6
impressive list of accomplishments in 2013; and7
WHEREAS, she won the Reining Youth Championship of the Dixie National Paint8
Rodeo in Jackson, Mississippi; and 9
WHEREAS, she won the Senior Youth Reining Championship of the Pinto World10
Championship Horse Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and11
WHEREAS, she won the Youth Reining Championship of the Pinto Horse12
Association of America; and13
WHEREAS, she won the Senior Youth Reining Championship of the Louisiana 4-H14
and FFA State Horse Show in West Monroe, Louisiana; and15
WHEREAS, while currently pursuing a nursing degree from Louisiana State16
University, she is an active member who competes in the Amateur/Non Pro Division of each17
association, with the exception of 4-H; and18 SCR NO. 27

WHEREAS, she has certainly earned this statewide recognition of her1
accomplishments in the professional rodeo circuit. 2
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby3
commend and congratulate Annie Clae Barousse for her outstanding accomplishments and4
does hereby extend every good wish for continued success and happiness in her future5
endeavors.6
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to7
Annie Clae Barousse.8
