Requests DHH to study the feasibility, desirability, and practicality of alternative
transportation sites (i.e. urgent care clinics) for patients who access emergency medical
services via the 911 system and the use of ambulance service providers and suppliers to assist
with training and management of this population. Requires report to Senate and House
committees on health and welfare no later than January 1, 2015.
