Directs the Dept. of Health and Hospitals to create a working group to study the future of
health care funding in La. Working group to include:
(1) Secretary of the Department of Health and Hospitals or his designee.
(2) Executive director of the La. Association of Health Plans or his designee.
(3) Executive director of the La. Hospital Association or his designee.
(4) Chief executive of the La. State Medical Society or his designee.
(5) President of the Public Affairs Research Council of La. or his designee.
(6) Executive director of the La. Nursing Home Association or his designee.
(7) Chair of Senate Committee on Health and Welfare or his designee.
(8) Chair of House Committee on Health and Welfare or his designee.
(9) Executive director of La. Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics or his
designee.
(10) Director of the La. Budget Project or his designee.
(11) Executive director of the La. Rural Hospital Coalition, Inc. or his designee.
(12)A representative of the La. Ambulance Alliance.
Requires report to the legislature no later than 60 days prior to the 2015 RS. Provides that
working group shall terminate on March 1, 2015.
