SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 63

A RESOLUTION
To commend Celton Hayden Jr. and CC's Coffee House for the contributions it makes to the
state of Louisiana.
WHEREAS, since 1995, when CC's Coffee House first opened its doors on Magazine
Street in the heart of New Orleans, it has preserved the time-honored tradition of bringing
people together over a delicious cup of coffee; and
WHEREAS, CC's only brews their own speciality blends made from the highest
quality beans in the world; and
WHEREAS, they have consistently been voted the favorite coffee house in all core
markets for ten years running; and
WHEREAS, in a rich tradition of Southern hospitality and quality products, CC's
puts love into every expertly crafted cup of coffee and welcomes their patrons to a warm
surrounding with a familiar smile; and
WHEREAS, CC's doesn't just make coffee, but they craft experiences; and
WHEREAS, CC's was formally operated as Community Coffee, but is now operating
as CC's Coffee House under the leadership of president Celton Hayden Jr.; and
WHEREAS, as a teenage grocery bagger, Celton Hayden Jr. never imagined that he
would one day become the president of the leading speciality coffee house in southeast
Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, throughout his thirteen years of working at CC's Coffee House, Hayden
has served as general manager of retail operations and was named president of the company
in 2013; and 
WHEREAS, he believes that the strong foundation provided by his parents,
combined with constant love and encouragement from his wife, Dana, made him into the
servant leader and practical visionary that he is today; and
WHEREAS, CC's has a unique licensing concept in which quality operators are
awarded agreements to open new locations; and SR NO. 63	ENROLLED

WHEREAS, though these stores are independently owned and operated, they deliver
the same selection of classic beverages and great service that CC's is known for; and
WHEREAS, with more than thirty locations and seven hundred employees
throughout Louisiana, CC's embarks on a journey to provide the very best coffee and
concept to an eagerly waiting America; and 
WHEREAS, CC's is all about getting people together and enjoying each other's
company by weaving a fabric of positive relationships and experiences that stretch from their
coffee houses, out into the world.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Celton Hayden Jr. and CC's Coffee House for the contributions it
makes to the state of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Celton Hayden Jr., president of CC's Coffee House.
