SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 92

CONDOLENCES. Extends condolences upon the death of U.S. Marine Corps Lance
Corporal Christopher Wooley.
A RESOLUTION1
To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana to the2
family of United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Christopher Wooley upon his3
death while in the service of his country.4
WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley loved his country and all of the freedoms and5
liberties it provided its citizens; and6
WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley felt a need to serve his nation and try to7
preserve the ideals and virtues that all Americans value; and8
WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps and loved9
his time as a member of one of the elite armed forces of the United States; and10
WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley was also blessed with a wife, Jacqueline, a son11
Ian Alexander Wooley, and the upcoming birth of his daughter; and12
WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley achieved much in the twenty-one years he lived13
and his loss leaves his family, friends and brothers in arms searching for some comfort to14
ease the pain they all now suffer from his absence.15
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana16
does hereby extend its deepest and most profound condolences to the family of U.S. Marine17
Corps Lance Corporal Christopher Allan Wooley on his death while serving his country.18 SR NO. 92

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to his1
wife, Jacqueline and his parents, Major Connie and Douglas Wooley of Orange, Texas.2
