ACT 293 (HB 125) 2015 Regular Session Fannin
Existing law requires state sales tax on hotel rooms collected in Winn Parish to be deposited
into the Winn Parish Tourism Fund. Prior law required the monies in the fund to be
appropriated to the Winnfield Museum Board.
New law deletes prior law and instead requires that 80% of the monies be appropriated to the
Greater Winn Parish Development Corporation for the La. Political Museum and Hall of
Fame and 20% of the monies be appropriated to the Winn Chamber of Commerce and
Tourism to support tourism and economic development in Winn Parish.
Effective July 1, 2015.
