Abstract: Increases the maximum per diem for commissioners of the Cameron Parish Waterworks
District No. 10.
Present law authorizes parishes to create waterworks districts, which have control of water systems
in the respective districts. Provides for meetings of the board of commissioners of any such district.
Present law authorizes a per diem of up to $60 for waterworks district commissioners for attendance
at meetings for up to 24 regular meetings and 12 special meetings each year.
Proposed law increases to $100 the maximum per diem for the commissioners of Cameron Parish
Waterworks District No. 10.
