ACT 97 (HB 126) 2015 Regular Session Hensgens
Existing law authorizes parishes to create waterworks districts, which have control of water
systems in the respective districts. Provides for meetings of the board of commissioners of
any such district.
Existing law authorizes a per diem of up to $60 for waterworks district commissioners for
attendance at meetings for up to 24 regular meetings and 12 special meetings each year.
New law increases to $100 the maximum per diem for the commissioners of Cameron Parish
Waterworks District No. 10.
Effective August 1, 2015.
