HIGHWAYS: Designates certain highways in the state highway system
1 AN ACT
2To designate certain highways and bridges in the state highway system; to designate the
3 bridge located on Louisiana Highway 2 between West Carroll Parish and Morehouse
4 Parish as the "World War I and World War II Veterans Memorial Bridge"; to
5 designate the bridge located on Louisiana Highway 2 between West Carroll Parish
6 and East Carroll Parish as the "Korean, Vietnam, and Desert Storm Veterans
7 Memorial Bridge"; to designate a section of Louisiana Highway 183 as the "James
8 'Terry' Watson Memorial Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
9Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
10 Section 1. The bridge located on Louisiana Highway 2 that connects West Carroll
11Parish and Morehouse Parish over the Boeuf River shall hereby be designated as the "World
12War I and World War II Veterans Memorial Bridge".
13 Section 2. The bridge located on Louisiana Highway 2 that connects West Carroll
14Parish and East Carroll Parish over Bayou Macon shall hereby be designated as the "Korean,
15Vietnam, and Desert Storm Veterans Memorial Bridge".
16 Section 3. The section of Louisiana Highway 183 from United States Highway 80
17to one mile north of Futch Road shall hereinafter be designated as the "James 'Terry' Watson
18Memorial Highway".
19 Section 4. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
20hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting these designations.

Designates the section of La. Hwy. 183 from U.S. Hwy. 80 to one mile north of Futch Road
as the "James 'Terry' Watson Memorial Highway".
Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development or its contractors to erect and maintain
appropriate signage of these designations.
