R.S. 22:1551(C)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 8 ยง1551. Exemption from examination 9 * * * 10 C. Present law requires that an applicant for a producer license applying for renewal within five years of the expiration date of his license is exempt from the requirement of an examination. Proposed law changes present law by requiring that an applicant apply within two years of the expiration of the previous license to be exempt from the requirement of an examination.
