Abstract: Increases court costs assessed for funding crime stoppers organizations.
Present law establishes an additional cost of court in the amount of $2 to be collected from each
person convicted of a criminal or traffic offense in any court which has one or more certified crime
stoppers organizations.
Proposed law increases the court cost from $2 to $3.
