APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
the State of Louisiana DOTD in the matter of "David Milbon and Richard Warren
v. Barriere Construction Company, L.L.C., et al"
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-
3 2016 to be used to pay the consent judgment against the State of Louisiana
4 Department of Transportation and Development in the suit entitled "David Milbon
5 and Richard Warren v. Barriere Construction Company, L.L.C., et al"; and to provide
6 for related matters.
7Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
8 Section 1. The sum of Fifteen Thousand and No/100 ($15,000.00) Dollars in favor
9of plaintiff, David Milbon, is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of
10Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 to be used to pay the consent judgment against the
11State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development in the suit entitled
12"David Milbon and Richard Warren v. Barriere Construction Company, L.L.C., et al",
13bearing Number 98-15400, Division "C", on the docket of the Civil District Court, parish
14of Orleans, state of Louisiana.
15 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2015; if vetoed by the governor
16and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,
172015, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.

on the docket of the Civil District Court, parish of Orleans.
Effective July 1, 2015.
