Present law limits the manner in which a disciplinary proceeding may be conducted, when the complaint is filed with the professional or occupational board or commission, by requiring written notice be issued by the board or commission to the licensee within six months of the filing of the complaint and by requiring the proceeding to be held within six months of that notice unless that period of time is otherwise interrupted by procedural motions. Present law enumerates specific entities not restricted by the provisions of present law. Proposed law adds the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board to the enumerated list of specific entities not restricted by the provisions of present law.
