RÉSUMÉ DIGEST ACT 216 (HB 358) 2015 Regular Session Schroder Existing law authorizes the state veterinarian to place livestock in quarantine until the necessary inspections, tests, or epidemiological investigations have been completed. New law expands the authority to quarantine in existing law to any animal used for research, after consultation with cognizant federal officials and agencies, until the disease risk has abated.
