Abstract:  Delays the effective date of provisions of Act No. 866 of the 2014 Regular Session which
change the domicile of the La. State Board of Dentistry.
Present law (Act No. 866 of 2014 R.S.) changes the domicile of the La. State Board of Dentistry
(board) from the city of New Orleans to the parish of East Baton Rouge, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Proposed law retains present law but delays the effective date to Aug. 31, 2019.
Present law (Act No. 866 of 2014 R.S.) changes the venue for judicial review of a decision of the
board from the civil district court for the parish of Orleans to the 19
th
 Judicial District in East Baton
Rouge Parish, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Proposed law retains present law but delays the effective date to Aug. 31, 2019.
