STUDENT/TUITION: Authorizes the Board of Supervisors to impose additional fees for
enrollment in the dental hygiene program, University of Louisiana at Monroe
1 AN ACT
2To amend and reenact R.S. 17:3351.15(A), relative to the Board of Supervisors for the
3 University of Louisiana System; to authorize the board to impose certain fee amounts
4 for enrollment in the dental hygiene program at the University of Louisiana at
5 Monroe; and to provide for related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 17:3351.15(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
8 ยง3351.15. Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System; tuition and
9 attendance fee amounts; graduate students; masters degree in business
10 administration; dental hygiene
11 A. In addition to the authority granted to the Board of Supervisors for the
12 University of Louisiana System by law authorizing such board to provide for and
13 impose fees and in accordance with the provisions of Article VII, Section 2.1(A) of
14 the Constitution of Louisiana, the board may impose the following increases,:
15 effective
16 (1) Effective for the Fall 2009 academic session and thereafter, in tuition and
17 attendance fee amounts:
18 (1)(a) For a full-time graduate student who is enrolling in any institution
19 under its management and supervision by an amount which shall not exceed thirty
20 dollars per credit hour per academic session.

1 (2)(b) For a full-time student who is seeking a masters of business
2 administration degree at any institution under its management and supervision, an
3 increase in tuition by an amount of up to one thousand dollars per academic session,
4 which shall be inclusive of the increase in graduate student tuition authorized in
5 Paragraph (1) of this Subsection.
6 (2) Effective for the 2015-2016 academic year and thereafter, a dental supply
7 fee of three hundred dollars per academic year for students enrolled in the dental
8 hygiene program, University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Proposed law authorizes the UL Board of Supervisors to impose a dental supply fee of $300
per year, beginning in the 2015-2016 academic year, for students in the dental hygiene
program at the University of La. at Monroe.
