HIGHWAYS: Designates portions of certain highways in Bossier Parish
1 AN ACT
2To designate certain portions of Louisiana highways to honor the public service of Louisiana
3 citizens; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 72 as "Private First Class
4 Joshua C. Burrows Drive"; and to designate a portion of U.S. Highway 80 as
5 "Sergeant Craig Nelson Memorial Highway".
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 72, commonly referred to as Traffic
8Street, in Bossier Parish beginning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 80, locally known as
9East Texas Street, southbound to the intersection of Traffic Street and Interstate 20, shall be
10hereinafter known and designated as "Private First Class Joshua C. Burrows Drive".
11 Section 2. The portion of U.S. Highway 80 in Bossier Parish located between the
12two entrances of Bossier Parish Community College shall be hereinafter known and
13designated as "Sergeant Craig Nelson Memorial Highway".
14 Section 3. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
15hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting these designations.

locally as East Texas Street, south to the intersection of I-20 in Bossier Parish as "Private
