Existing law authorizes the city marshal of Hammond to collect a fee for taking an
appearance bond to supplement the operational expenses of the marshal's office.
Prior law authorized the collection of a $10 fee.
New law increases the fee authorized for collection from $10 to $20.
Effective August 1, 2015.
