Abstract: Prohibits appropriating or transferring money out of a dedicated fund for a purpose
inconsistent with the constitutional or statutory provision establishing the purpose and use
of the dedicated fund.
Proposed constititional amendment prohibits appropriating or transferring money out of a dedicated
fund for a purpose inconsistent with the constitutional or statutory provision establishing the purpose
and use of the dedicated fund. The prohibition does not apply to transfers authorized in present
constitution to cure a projected deficit in the current year or next fiscal year.
Provides for submission of the proposed amendment to the voters at the statewide election to be held
Oct. 24, 2015.
