Abstract: Creates the State Employer Health Insurance Fund for state agencies to use for the
employer portion of health insurance costs for retired state employees.
Proposed law creates the State Employer Health Insurance Fund, as a special treasury fund and
provides for deposits into the fund from any monies appropriated annually by the legislature
including donations, gifts, grants, or any other monies which may be provided by law. Further the
monies in the fund shall be appropriated to state agencies for the obligations of the employer portion
of the cost of state group health insurance for retired state employees.
