1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 33:140.62(A)(3) and (4), relative to state planning and
3 development districts; to move St. Mary Parish to a new district; and to provide for
4 related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 33:140.62(A)(3) and (4) are hereby amended and reenacted to read
7 as follows:
8 ยง140.62. Designation of regions
9 A. The development districts for the state designated and established by the
10 governor in Executive Order No. 27 of 1973 are hereby continued as follows:

12 (3) District #3, composed of the parishes of Assumption, Lafourche, St.
13 Charles, St. James, St. Mary, St. John the Baptist and Terrebonne.
14 (4) District #4, composed of the parishes of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia,
15 Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermilion.
