Requests that the State Bd. of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE), in consultation
with stakeholders, identify sources of state and federal funds and other potential funding
sources for early childhood care and education and submit, by Jan. 15, 2016, a written report
to the House and Senate education committees that includes a proposal of funding
mechanisms and a strategy for implementing the funding model developed in response to
HCR No. 61 of the 2014 R.S.
