COMMENDATIONS:  Commends James B. Smith upon being the youngest person to
receive a degree from Louisiana State University
1	A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2To commend James B. Smith upon being the youngest person to receive a degree from
3 Louisiana State University.
4 WHEREAS, James B. Smith is the son of Brian and Corinna Smith; and
5 WHEREAS, on May 15, 2015, James B. Smith graduated summa cum laude and
6received a bachelor of science degree in computer science the from Louisiana State
7University College of Engineering; and
8 WHEREAS, prior to his enrollment in college at the age of thirteen, James B. Smith
9had been homeschooled; and
10 WHEREAS, he enjoys playing the piano for the children's ministry at his church; and
11 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend and congratulate James B. Smith upon his
12graduation from Louisiana State University at the age of sixteen.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
14commend James B. Smith upon being the youngest person to receive a degree from
15Louisiana State University and does hereby extend to him best wishes for continued success
16in his future endeavors.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
18to James B. Smith.
