Establishes a 15-member study committee on family caregiving and long-term supports and services,
and directs the committee to report recommendations for legislative and administrative actions to
support family caregivers to the legislative committees on health and welfare on or before Jan. 31,
2016.
Summary of Amendments Adopted by House
The House Floor Amendments to the engrossed bill:
1. Add the following members to the study committee:
(1)One member representing the governor's office of elderly affairs.
(2)One member representing the Louisiana Nursing Home Association.
(3)One member representing the Advocacy Center.
2. Delete a member appointed by the governor from the study committee membership.
