HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 100
BY REPRESENTATIVE HILL
A RESOLUTION
To commend the Kinder High School baseball team upon winning the Louisiana High
School Athletic Association Class 2A state championship on May 16, 2015.
WHEREAS, the Kinder High School Yellow Jackets finished the season with an 11-3
win over Oak Grove High School in the 2015 championship game in Sulphur to emerge as
the Class 2A baseball state champions; and
WHEREAS, the championship win was the second consecutive state title for the
Kinder High School baseball team; and
WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest levels of excellence
throughout the season and the championship tournament; and
WHEREAS, in the championship game, the Yellow Jackets scored single runs in the
third and sixth innings and accumulated nine runs in the top of the seventh inning; and
WHEREAS, the team's outstanding 2015 season upholds the glorious tradition of the
Yellow Jackets, and all Kinder High School fans recognize the immense pride and
distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and state.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend and congratulate the Kinder High School
baseball team upon winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 2A state
baseball championship and does hereby recognize their outstanding performance and the
honor and pride that the team has brought to their school and community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the head coach of the Kinder High School baseball team.
