Urges and requests the Dept. of Transportation and Development to conduct a study within
the area below whereby data is collected and analyzed, existing traffic patterns are examined,
and alternative routes for hazardous material commodity flow are identified as feasible:
(1)La. Hwy. 46 (St. Claude Ave.) from Elysian Fields Ave. to the Orleans-St. Bernard
Parish line.
(2)La. Hwy. 39/I-10 Service Road (Claiborne Ave.) from Tulane Ave. to the Orleans-St.
Bernard Parish line (including N. Robertson couplet of La. Hwy. 39 from Elysian
Fields Ave. to Poland Ave.).
(3)La. Hwy. 46 and La. Hwy. 3021 (Elysian Fields Ave.) from La. Hwy. 46 (St. Claude
Ave.) to I-610.
(4)La. Hwy. 39 (Judge Perez Drive) from the Orleans-St. Bernard Parish line to La.
Hwy. 47 (Paris Road).
(5)La. Hwy. 46 (St. Claude Ave. or St. Bernard Hwy.) from the Orleans Parish line to
La. Hwy. 47 (Paris Road).
