Directs the La. State Law Institute to study the issue of adding the crimes of assault on a
school teacher (R.S. 14:38.2) and battery of a school teacher (R.S. 14:34.3) to the offenses
enumerated as crimes of violence in R.S. 14:2(B), and to report its findings to the Legislature
of La., including any recommendations for legislative changes as are appropriate, prior to the
2016 R.S.
