HLS 15RS-591 ORIGINAL 2015 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 15 BY REPRESENTATIVE LORUSSO COMMENDATIONS: Commends Paul Klein upon winning his fourth state wrestling title 1 A RESOLUTION 2To commend Paul Klein for winning his fourth individual Division I state wrestling title at 3 the Louisiana High School Athletic Association's state wrestling championship held 4 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, in February of 2015. 5 WHEREAS, Paul Klein is a senior at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, 6where he is an outstanding member of the Brother Martin High School wrestling team; and 7 WHEREAS, Paul Klein currently holds four individual state wrestling titles, with his 8most recent title in the one hundred thirty-two pound weight class; and 9 WHEREAS, along with Paul Klein's notable individual state titles, he is Louisiana's 10first Division I four-time state champion and the first nationally ranked Louisiana wrestler; 11and 12 WHEREAS, Paul Klein began wrestling at the age of five at a local Olympic facility; 13as a kid, he would help at the state championship matches and dream of winning four 14consecutive titles; and 15 WHEREAS, upon his graduation from Brother Martin High School, Paul Klein will 16attend Arizona State University where he will continue his passion for wrestling. 17 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the 18Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Paul Klein for winning his fourth 19consecutive Division I state wrestling title at the Louisiana High School Athletic 20Association's state wrestling championship.
