COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Bossier Little League softball team for their
outstanding achievements and for representing the state of La. in the 2014 Little
League Softball World Series

2To commend the Bossier Little League softball team for its outstanding achievements and
3 for representing the state of Louisiana in the 2014 Little League Softball World
4 Series.
5 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend the Bossier Little League softball team for
6its outstanding achievements and its selection to participate in the 2014 Little League
7Softball World Series; and
8 WHEREAS, the Bossier Little League softball team completed a sensational 2014
9season and captured second place against New Jersey's Robbinsville Little League softball
10team in the 2014 Little League World Series; and
11 WHEREAS, the Bossier Little League softball team merits a sincere measure of
12commendation for their great skill and sportsmanship; and
13 WHEREAS, the Bossier Little League softball team was guided with outstanding
14leadership by Head Coach and Manager Jason Ennis, Coach John Easom, and Coach Todd
15Chaffin; and
16 WHEREAS, the exceptional members of the Bossier Little League softball team who
17deserve recognition include Brooklyn Brandon, Jessica Baffuto, Raelin Chaffin, Kourtnee
18White, Madison Ennis, Mackenzie Chaffin, Alexis Gray, Reagan Jorstad, Caroline Easom,
19and Hannah Borah; and

1 WHEREAS, the House of Representatives wishes to recognize the Bossier Little
2League softball team and to express its congratulations to the team members and coaches
3for the merits won and the sportsmanship shown in the 2014 Little League World Series.
4 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
5Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Bossier Little League softball team for
6its outstanding achievements and its selection to play in the 2014 Little League World Series
7and does hereby extend best wishes to the players, coaches, and everyone involved with this
8outstanding softball program as they prepare for continued success in the future.
9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
10to Jason Ennis, head coach and manager of the Bossier Little League softball team.
