Requests that the Bd. of Regents, in collaboration with the La. Student Financial Assistance
Commission, study the state's merit- and need-based student financial assistance programs
and submit, at least 60 days prior to the 2016 R.S., a written report to the House Committee
on Education that analyzes such programs' strengths and weaknesses and recommends how
they might be revised to help more students maximize postsecondary education opportunities
and success.
