44 Day at the state capitol
1 A RESOLUTION
2To recognize the citizens of House District 44 and to designate Thursday, May 14, 2015, as
3 House District 44 Day at the state capitol.
4 WHEREAS, House District 44 is located in Lafayette Parish; and
5 WHEREAS, House District 44 is known as "the front yard of Lafayette"; and
6 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize the citizens of House District 44 and to
7designate Thursday, May 14, 2015, as House District 44 Day at the state capitol.
8 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
9Legislature of Louisiana does hereby recognize the citizens of House District 44, "the front
10yard of Lafayette", and does hereby designate Thursday, May 14, 2015, as House District
1144 Day at the state capitol.
