COMMENDATIONS: Commends Miller's Funeral Home, Inc., for 80 years of service
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated, upon the celebration of eighty years of
3 service.
4 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Miller, Sr., established Miller's Funeral Home,
5Incorporated, in April of 1935; and
6 WHEREAS, for many years, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller worked hard to establish
7their business while gaining the trust and confidence of citizens in Monroe, Louisiana; and
8 WHEREAS, in 1940, Mrs. Miller established Reliable Life Insurance Company to
9assist people with funeral service costs; and
10 WHEREAS, the personal service of Miller Funeral Home, Incorporated, has led the
11business to become a well-respected funeral home in Monroe; and
12 WHEREAS, Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated, continues the outstanding
13tradition of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Miller, Sr., as the business operates with professionalism
14and concern for its customers.
15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
16Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated, upon
17the celebration of eighty years of service and does hereby extend best wishes to the business
18for continued success in years to come.
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
20to Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated.
